Credit card quiz landing page for Email Campaign
My Role
I was the developer, web designer, and HubSpot CMS lead on this project. I worked with the Marketing Director and Email Marketing specialist on the questions and answers copy. I also reached out to a developer in the IT department to QA my code and help with bugs.
Description
The Marketing Director wanted a landing page with a credit card quiz that would suggest a credit card that matched their personal money goals and behavior. The HubSpot platform was still very new to the team so it was a collective learning experience. I would need to learn to what extent it was possible to use javascript within HubSpot CMS platform. I found out the platform allowed connecting to the JQuery library so I could use Jquery methods for the quiz functionality and bootstrap for the UI elements.

Outcomes/Lessons Learned
The credit card quiz I designed and developer was used on a landing page which was part of an email campaign. Over 600 people visited the landing page from their email. The average time on the quiz page was 4 minutes, which means most people completed the quiz. It was fulfilling to be able to make my manager’s idea come to life and carry out a successful campaign.
