I was the graphic designer on this task. I worked with the digital content specialist to get digital assets and style guide for Giving Tuesday social media posts. Giving Tuesday had a link with all the assets for the campaign so it was easy to get started.

Description

This task was to create social media posts using Giving Tuesday style guidelines and templates. The reason I am including this task in my portfolio is because the use of Canva.com and other social online tools was a genius way for the non-profit to easily disseminate digital assets for social media. Canva online lets you create a public page where you can share branded templates, graphics, logos and colors to keep the campaign on brand no matter who joins the campaign. Giving Tuesday also used Giphy.com to share campaign stickers and animated gifs. And They used Pexels.com to share photos that can be used for the Giving Tuesday campaign as well. So much better than sharing a link to a google drive or dropbox.

Outcomes/Lessons Learned

Luckily the templates were simple enough it was an easy conversion from Giving Tuesday brand to PhilaWorks brand. This project was a great example of non-profits working together using online media.
