Speaker Engagements slide design
My Role
I was the designer on this project. The digital content specialist wanted a Canva template for speaker engagements presentations. She provided me with a few design examples of what she was looking for. She and the Digital Communications Director reviewed and approved the final designs.
Description
The speaker engagement cover templates were used by the digital content specialist. Instead of having me create the presentation cover slides, she wanted the freedom to create the presentations on her own. I used Canva to create three designs and saved them in a folder called templates. Canva makes it so easy to swap out images with masking and edit text that creating templates made more sense then adding to my workload.

Outcomes/Lessons Learned
When it comes to design inspiration there is an overwhelming amount of design inspo online and even within Canva’s template library. Keeping in mind PhilaWorks branding and mission, I used inspiration to create three designs. The designs spoke to PhilaWorks mission of being a guiding force for people to move towards fulfilling careers with design elements such as forward moving arrows and a sunburst made with radiating lines overlaying a photo of Philadelphia.
